The "Friends of Rohkunstbau" society was founded early in 2003 to help secure Rohkunstbau's position as an important part of the artistic landscape in the German state of Brandenburg. Its members are united in their enthusiasm for the basic tenets of the festival, their love of contemporary forms of artistic expressions, and their courage to dedicate themselves to projects that go a step beyond the norm.
To maintain its vitality, social commitment, and continuing development, Rohkunstbau must rely increasingly on the involvement of private individuals and businesses. The Friends of Rohkunstbau ask all those who have come to value the project to join in supporting Rohkunstbau with a personal or financial contribution.
The society supports Rohkunstbau not least with scholarships and purchases, as well as by looking for new sponsors. At the same time, they provide a forum for frequent and exciting discussions about contemporary art.
